Absolutely, it’s a good thing to have more options. I’m so glad I live in a world where we have choices, although it’s obvious that some of the commenters on your site don’t appreciate it much (shimpiphany and Scott P.).

For now, I’ll jump into my Hummer and head down to Vons. I hope I pass Scott or shimp on the way there.

don’t go so fast on the organic stuff. Tesco is infamous for selling pesticide covered fruit and veg as ‘organic.’

You caught us Roy! We were indeed stepping out of HP for Fresh&Easy. Nevertheless, we’re hoping it’s a good thing all around–including Highland Park. Besides, the whole area is growing so fast we hope to be able to cover more than just Highland Park.

I’ve read some pretty evil things about Tesco, too, though, likening them to Britain’s version of Wal-Mart. Not so sure that I’d be jumping onto the “fresh&easy” bandwagon right away, at least not without doing some reading first.

I am so happy to see Fresh&Easy coming to the York Blvd area. We are thinking of moving into that area and the more “organic mentality” coming in, the better. Any news about a “Green” dry cleaners moving in? Good to see a web site about York. It appears to be up and coming! Thanks!
