Jim Carrey Filming in Highland Park

Actor Jim Carrey, famous for his big screen roles in “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls” and “Earth Girls are Easy”, will be filming a new movie titled “Yes Man” at Highland Park’s very own La Casa Blue October 29th-31st. I was planning on utilizing La Casa Blue’s newly extended monday hours to get some work done when I was informed by a very nice security guard that they were closed due to the filming. Let’s hope this does for the Casa Blue what “Seinfeld” did for all those crappy Manhattan greasy spoons that serve a “Big Salad”. The studio invites any and all Jim Carrey fans to hang out around the set, eat the food, and pitch screenplay ideas by shouting them at the nearest PA.
