Jody, good eye! An “overzealous staffer” deleted the previous post, which in all seriosness shouldn’t have been done. I apologize. The post read as follows:

“Calling the art at Casa Blue ‘inspiring’ calls this whole blog into question”.

We’ll be posting some sort of submission terms and promise in the future to leave any and all valid posts untouched. Only serious abuses of the board will be edited or deleted by the staff. Great list. I would also recommend south pasadena. Both Busters and Kaldi are good hangouts.

Casa Blue is great for wireless and studying, especially if you get there in the morning. Antigua Bread is great and comfortable if you can get the benches against the wall it is really nice.. and you have a view of Millard Sheets’ mural on the WaMu building across the street.

Thanks so much for this list! I’m constantly looking for new places to think/work/write in Northeast LA. I’ve lived here for 4 years and you’ve listed at least 4 places that I never would have thought up myself.
