In a haste to post this article, we forgot to mention Obama’s much more personal connection to North East LA. Before graduating from Columbia University in 1983, Barack Obama spent 2 full years at Occidental College.

Obama? Are you serious? This country needs more than hope we need real solutions with a leader who can actually work for change. Yes, Obama is a great orator but has not proved to be a great legislator or leader. I believe Hillary Clinton would be a better choice to lead our country in a new positive direction. VOTE HILLARY on February 5th!

1. Couldn’t agree more with the Obama article. He should take an office that has been ruined by 8 years of mismanagement and return the country to international respectability. However, what’s with the name calling? Are we liberals so intollerant of independent thought that we can’t debate the issues? Paul has some things right (leaving Iraq, which McCain and Romney don’t seem willing to do).

2. I’m a convert to your anti-Mia Sushi/Marty’s stance: Recently, the owner (Rudy?) was hitting on me at the bar and when I turned him down…well let’s just say he doesn’t take rejection very well. I’ll be getting my drinks at Johnny’s next time I’m out for drinks on York.

Remember: even if you are not registered w/ any party, you can request a Democratic ballot in the primary since Cali is not a closed primary (but rather a semi-closed (semi-open?) one)

Thank you for assuring us that York Blvd. is not a place with a Republlican only endorsement though 1 is bad enough.We were quite disappointed to read the endorsement for anyone in the R. party. So we are grateful that you endorse a great canidate, Barack Obama. We both think he is genuine and intelligent and can do great things for the people of this country. Hilary is part of the old gang and will have paybacks to republicans, lobbyists and many others. Can you possibly convince the wierd other(s) on your staff that our country has suffered enough under the Republican Regime - that whole party is down right frightening and anyone who thinks we need another 4 years of that establishment is either seriously deluded or unable to think intelligently (lots of other possibilities, but none of them are good!). Go Obama!
