Steve Lopez also ran a story on Obama’s Occidental years in today’s Times.  Maybe now people will stop asking why I decided to attend dental school…

   You mean students don’t still call that “the Star Trek Fountain”? That’s what it was called when I went to Oxy. And I got the dental school comment all the time. That and “did you go there ON ACCIDENT har har har?”
